Ask Marie

Hi Marie,

I just discovered your radio show and I’m really enjoying listening to it! I am a budding life coach and am taking courses in energy reading. On the show, you talk about drawing out the clients’ energy and the energy of individual chakras (leaking, pass through, etc.). How did you learn how to do this or did it just come to you over time?

Thanks so much for any input you may have,

Amy

Dear Amy,

Congratulations on your work and its emerging success. I’m self-taught so the idea of drawing out someone’s energy came to me. It’s not necessary, but helpful and allows me to let go and enjoy the interaction. If you are looking for new tools or techniques, simply ask the Universe to teach you anything that would be useful for your work and expansion. The Universe is the greatest teacher!

Love,

Marie

Marie,

I have been visited in dreams twice by deceased people coming to tell me all was well. My father in law came to talk to me through a medium once. That doesn’t make me exactly a medium though right? I’m very open to being one. Thank you! I’m absolutely loving your podcast.

Merritt

Hello Merritt,

Having a great desire is always a sign! Doing its best to lead you towards your greatness. Visitations through dreams are a common way that loved ones visit their Earth bound family and friends. Try talking to your loved ones when you are awake. And ask the Universe out loud to assist you in becoming a medium. Keep me posted with your expansion into the multi-sensory world!

Love,

Marie

Hi Marie,

I lost my husband a year ago, so it has been a very tough year, especially after getting Covid and caregiving my parents long distance. I missed your class at the hospital in Sun Valley (also a nurse that had to work).

I feel like I am doing OK, but my adult son is really struggling with losing his Dad. I talk to my husband every day, and wondered if you have any helpful advice and messages. My son joined a grief writing group, meditates, and began an antidepressant, which he stopped since it made him feel worse.

I have learned to take a day at a time, so hopefully my energy is in a good place. Thank you.

Karen

Hello Karen,

I am sorry I missed you in the Spring, and I’m so sorry for your loss. Having the world experience a pandemic and many other challenges during a year when a loved one has passed on would be super difficult for anyone. I think your son is doing well under the circumstances. He seems to communicate his needs and the two of you have bonded even more with the departure of your husband. Give it more time. As you know, grief is subjective. Keep loving each other and do your best to find time to laugh out loud! With popcorn and maybe a super funny movie! Your husband will love that!

Love,

Marie

Hi Marie,

I absolutely love your show and advice! I am wondering about some health issues that seem to pop up and then taper off. Right now I am having a weird pain in the back of my left thigh since pregnancy, and my hand joints are all really sore/kind of painful. I’d love any insight into these issues, but ultimately your insight into why I seem to always have “health problems” popping up since I’m young and active and eat well. In comparison to my husband, I seem to always be sporting some issue and sometimes I wonder if I’m just overly aware of my body!

Yours truly,

Cherie

Hello Cherie,

Yes, you are a little over aware (out of fear) regarding your body. Try not to pay attention to it too much, unless you can have a relaxed and happy feeling towards your wonderful body. The pain you experience is related to not letting go. Practice the art of letting go. Change the subject when you zero in on something, especially anything stressful. It’s great to be organized and self-sufficient, but there is an ease and flow that occurs when we let go and allow the Universe to assist us, even with little things. Perhaps practice the What If Question….a lot: ”What if I surrender to the good in the world?”

Love,

Marie

Hi Marie,

I was wondering if you could help my mom. She has been suffering with diverticulitis the last week or so. And now she has developed vertigo. Is there any thing she can do? Maybe an herbal remedy that you can recommend? I’m concerned for her.

Thank you,

Kim

Hello Kim,

Diverticulitis is a disease caused by a great lack of self-love. Typically accompanied by intense self-criticism. Many people are unaware of their thoughts. Your mom may not know how she feels about herself or how her mind communicates to her. Teach her the art of self-love. Supplements could be tricky with serious gut issues, including the ability to absorb their nutrients. It would be best to see a Naturopathic Doctor for herbs and other resources. Also, acupuncture has shown great promise with intestinal disorders.

Love,

Marie

Hi Marie,

Can you comment on the energetic components of Parkinson’s disease? We have quite a large population of these patients in our valley and I am curious as to the energetics on this effect on the nervous system.

Thanks,

Mary Kay

Hello Mary Kay,

Parkinson’s is a disease created energetically from a desire to control outcomes and/or people in one’s life. Those who contract the disease are wanting, on a soul level, to learn the art of surrender and trust. As it progresses, the disease creates an unnatural letting go as the individual with the disease cannot do a lot independently. Those who still need to really let go may become fearful of their physical limitations and work even harder to control those around them.  Controlling issues are very hard energetically, similar to a brick wall, in their formation. That is why this disease can be difficult to heal or reduce its affects. Great question by the way!

Marie

Hi Marie,

I have the most precious redhead who just turned 6. She beat cancer over a year ago (YAY!) and is currently in ABA therapy which is preparing her for Kindergarten. Can you tell me how I can help her with new situations and interacting with other kids? We kept her in a bubble during chemo (3 years) and she has some anxiety and reluctance towards new situations, being around other kids and trying new things. Sometimes it’s a battle to get her to go anywhere, try new foods or have new experiences.  She is a pro at social distancing, and loves to be home where things are familiar. However, we want her to experience life and do normal kid stuff now that she is healthy and able to so.

Thank you for your insight.

Noemi

Hello Noemi, and congratulations with your daughter’s recovery. I’m so incredibly happy for your family! Regarding your daughter’s entry back into regular life I would let her take it slow. Luckily with COVID that may be possible. She is very sweet and a little shy (per my perception). In a few years she will venture out more socially with ease. But for now I would take it slow.

Love,

Marie
