What's Included

Enjoy 7 days and 6 nights in breathtaking Victoria! A welcome and farewell dinner, and one high-tea inspired lunch following our group tour of the world-winning Butchart Gardens is included in your tuition fee. We will also be going on a magestic whale-watching adventure. You are responsible for travel to and from Victoria, accommodations, and all other meals not specified.

Travel

Fly into Victoria International Airport, catch a bird’s-eye view from a floatplane or helicopter, or enjoy the scenery aboard a ferry. The Empress Hotel is roughly a 30 minute taxi/car ride from the airport, and a short 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal.

Accommodation

Accommodations are not included in your tuition fee. We have a variety of king, queen and double rooms reserved for our group with a discounted nightly rates of 419 CAN plus taxes.

In addition to reserving online, you may call the Reservations Department at Fairmont Empress Hotel toll free at # 800 230 6922. We recommend that callers identify themselves as being with our group “The Marie Manuchehri Retreat” for ease of booking. 

Three days pre (from July 21) and one days post (check-out July 31) are available to book at the group discounted rate. The final day to book your accomodations is June 24th.

Guidance

If you are a U.S. citizen traveling to Canada, you’ll require a valid passport or passport card which remains valid until after completion of your scheduled trip. You won’t require a visa or eTa for stays less than 180 days. If you are a citizen from a country other than the U.S., please check with your countries guidelines and restrictions.

Refund Policy

You may cancel your registration for a full refund – less a $300 service charge – by May 5th, 2026. No refunds will be issued after this date for any reason. All refunds will be issued via PayPal.
